What you'll do

• Oversee full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance
• coordinate background and reference checks
• provide required new-hire notices and report hires to the California EDD
• advise managers on performance matters and corrective action
• support workplace investigations and accommodations
• maintain handbooks, policies, notices, records, and personnel files
• monitor employment-law changes
• partner on pay decisions and annual reviews
• coordinate training and engagement initiatives
• maintain HRIS data and prepare HR metrics
• support agency responses and audits
• participate in required MOD coverage.
