The Counterintelligence Officer, Analytical & Investigative Support (Level III) role is onsite in Springfield, VA, with compensation of $88,670–$138,142 per year. The position supports defensive counterintelligence activities for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) mission. The officer researches and evaluates all-source information, conducts defensive counterintelligence operations, and develops analyses and threat forecasts to help protect NGA and National System for GEOINT missions, personnel, programs, technology, and information systems from intelligence, terrorism, and espionage threats.

What you'll do

• Conduct defensive counterintelligence operations
• research, gather, evaluate, and interpret all-source information
• prepare counterintelligence analyses, threat forecasts, assessments, alerts, and briefings
• use analytical tools to identify anomalous activity
• coordinate information sharing with NGA, DoD, the Intelligence Community, and law enforcement
• conduct foreign-contact and travel debriefings
• prepare supply-chain risk assessments and intelligence information reports
• support personnel security adjudications, Special Access Programs, vulnerability mitigation, and damage-assessment task forces.

Why this role

Requires at least seven years of counterintelligence experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, graduation from an accredited federal or DoD counterintelligence training academy, and TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass a CI polygraph.
