Measles Epidemiologist I

What you'll do

• Provide technical assistance to healthcare providers, local health departments, and the public
• coordinate diagnostic testing when appropriate
• conduct surveillance using state disease and syndromic surveillance systems
• develop educational materials
• assist with case and outbreak investigations
• provide surge data-entry support as needed
• serve as an on-call epidemiologist for approximately two to three weeks per year if applicable to the program area
• serve as backup to other staff as necessary.
