• Control facility access using badges, turnstiles, electronic monitoring, and physical security measures
• verify credentials and authorize entry
• operate security equipment when trained and certified
• monitor entrances, alarms, and surveillance systems
• conduct inspections and patrols
• respond to incidents and emergencies
• escort visitors and contractors
• issue and maintain badges and credential records
• safeguard personally identifiable information
• maintain logs and reports
• report security concerns and equipment malfunctions.
