Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Pay is $20.75–$32 per hour. The technician supports Chicago Family Health Center by keeping its facilities clean, safe, and functioning for patients, staff, and visitors. The role helps maintain a safe and comfortable care environment through scheduled preventive maintenance, work-order repairs, inspections, and timely escalation of larger facility issues.

What you'll do

• Maintain scheduled preventive maintenance
• prioritize daily work orders
• inspect facility systems and materials
• evaluate and repair equipment on recurring schedules
• handle minor repairs
• identify deterioration or potential damage and report major issues to a supervisor
• report equipment needing contractual repair or replacement
• transport supplies and equipment between sites.
