Interventional Technologist, Special Procedures

The Interventional Technologist role is onsite in Royal Oak, MI. Compensation is not specified. The schedule is weekdays, 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m., in 10-hour shifts, with some weeknight backup call and an on-call weekend rotation every 2–4 weekends. The role provides direct care for patients undergoing heart and vascular procedures. The technologist supports physicians during procedures and contributes to patient- and family-centered care before, during, and after procedures. The role monitors patients, provides technical support, maintains radiation safety and equipment quality, and may perform additional clinical tasks as required by the department and site.

What you'll do

• Monitor patients undergoing invasive and interventional procedures and provide intra-procedural technical support
• communicate with coworkers, physicians, patients, families, and ancillary departments
• perform equipment quality assurance checks and skills validations
• maintain radiation safety standards
• take on-call duty per department schedule
• perform specialty-specific support when applicable, including sterile first assistance and imaging or procedure technologies.
