Caregiver / Home Care Aide

Job overview

The Caregiver / Home Care Aide role is onsite in Orinda, CA, with part-time or full-time shifts and pay of $20–$23 per hour. ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West provides personalized in-home care to help clients live in the comfort of their own homes. The role supports clients’ daily care and well-being through personal assistance, companionship, meal support, and help following individualized care plans. Caregivers also monitor and report changes so supervisors can respond to clients’ needs.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• support mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and preferences
• perform light housekeeping, laundry, tidying, and errands
• provide companionship and emotional support
• monitor and report changes in client health or behavior
• provide medication reminders and follow individualized care plans.
