The Dairy/Frozen Assistant works onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA, full time, five days and 40 hours per week, with a schedule based on store needs that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. The assistant helps maintain stocked, organized, and shoppable departments while supporting inventory, ordering, merchandising, customer service, and department operations. The position also assists with training and monitoring department personnel and may support store opening and closing activities and register coverage.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service
• assist with ordering and inventory accuracy
• support department margin and profitability by minimizing shrink and effective purchasing
• maintain product standards
• handle special orders
• merchandise shelves, endcaps, and displays
• assist with tagging, facing, rotating, cleaning, markdowns, stocking, and backstock
• assist with personnel training and task follow-up
• conduct demos
• support opening and closing, cash handling, and register functions
• maintain customer and employee safety.
