Math Tutor

Job overview

The Math Tutor role is in person in Baltimore, MD, Monday through Friday during traditional school hours, for 37.5 hours per week. Compensation is $21 per hour, with $500 relocation assistance for eligible candidates relocating more than 50 miles. Saga Education provides high-impact tutoring to support student outcomes and educational excellence. The tutor provides individualized math instruction and mentorship to a small caseload of middle or high school students. By using Saga’s curriculum and student data to adapt lessons, the role supports academic progress and student confidence.

• Tutor assigned students in math across multiple class periods
• prepare lessons using Saga Curriculum
• analyze student data and adapt instruction
• track attendance and progress
• communicate with families
• troubleshoot technology
• build student relationships
• participate in observations, feedback, reflections, and professional development.
