Director, Category Space

The Director, Category Space role may be based in Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Atlanta, GA; or Charlotte, NC. Compensation is $115,200–$172,800 per year, plus cash incentives. The director leads Red Bull’s planogram, assortment, and space strategy for assigned customer accounts, supporting retail partners and Red Bull’s category position. The role turns shopper, category, and customer insights into merchandising and assortment recommendations while leading the Category Space team. It supports account growth by improving planning tools and reporting, guiding customer partnerships, and aligning internal resources with retailer commitments and emerging opportunities.

What you'll do

• Lead space-planning strategy across assigned customer accounts
• oversee reset management, planogram development and analysis, reporting, and clustering
• develop and roll out category-space and assortment tools
• translate shopper, category, and customer insights into strategies
• lead, coach, and develop Category Space Managers and Analysts
• partner with Category Development and Key Accounts on business planning
• build relationships with customer buying and merchandising leaders
• plan and communicate resource commitments with internal stakeholders.
