Northeast Regional Director

The Northeast Regional Director role is hybrid in Pittston, PA, with three days per week in the office and remaining days remote. The annual salary range is $70,000–$80,000. The Pennsylvania Environmental Council’s Northeast Office advances conservation, recreation, watershed protection, community revitalization, and climate and energy solutions. The director leads regional programs and projects, manages grants and staff, builds partnerships, and supports fundraising and public engagement to advance the council’s environmental and community priorities across Northeast Pennsylvania.

What you'll do

• Plan, implement, and evaluate regional programs
• develop partnerships and funding opportunities
• represent the organization at meetings and public events
• manage projects, grants, budgets, deliverables, and reporting
• supervise and develop regional staff
• oversee mini-grant programs
• support proposals and fundraising
• serve as a spokesperson and deliver presentations
• coordinate with statewide teams. Travel throughout Pennsylvania and occasionally beyond is required
• occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary.
