What you'll do

• Assess medical assistants’ clinical skills and training needs
• provide training and continuing education
• evaluate and track annual skills and competencies
• participate in direct patient care
• train staff on telemedicine equipment, electronic medical records, and CLIA-waived tests
• oversee externships and MA-in-Training clinical skills
• conduct lab and documentation audits
• conduct respiratory fit testing
• serve as liaison for internal lab surveys and inspections
• provide performance evaluation recommendations to clinic leadership.
