The Direct Support Professional (DSP) — Awake Overnights, Applewood role is onsite in Shakopee, MN. Mount Olivet Rolling Acres supports adults, seniors, and children with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, and age-related or chronic medical conditions. The role supports clients’ daily well-being, safety, and participation in home and community life. Through personal care, program implementation, supervision, and household support, the DSP helps carry out individualized plans and daily routines.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with daily care, medical needs, activities of daily living, and mental health supports
• support routines and choices
• plan recreation and community activities
• accompany clients to appointments and activities using a company vehicle
• implement support plans
• administer and document prescribed medications and treatments
• prepare meals
• complete housekeeping and maintenance
• maintain supervision and records
• and remain awake during the overnight shift unless assigned a sleeping shift.
