What you'll do

• Verify imaging orders and clarify discrepancies with radiologists or ordering providers
• identify and prepare patients and explain procedures
• obtain and document medical histories
• perform CT scans and administer IV contrast according to protocols
• evaluate image quality and produce additional images or measurements as instructed
• provide basic patient care and alert nursing staff to changes
• assist with invasive procedures and emergency response
• follow radiation safety, infection control, and equipment procedures
• maintain supplies and work areas.
