What you'll do

• Produce x-ray images of specified body areas.
• Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures.
• Perform x-ray procedures using portable machines.
• Process films for radiologist interpretation.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order.
