Fleet Maintenance Operations Supervisor

The Fleet Maintenance Operations Supervisor role is onsite in Rancho Cordova, CA. Compensation is $105,000–$120,000 per year. The position supports Pinnacle Equipment’s vehicle fleet and related equipment operations. The supervisor leads technicians and coordinates maintenance work to keep vehicles safe, compliant, and available for service. The role oversees preventive maintenance, repair quality, costs, inventory, regulatory records, and coordination with operations and dispatch to support fleet uptime and efficiency.

What you'll do

• Supervise, schedule, and assign technicians’ daily work
• plan preventive maintenance and repairs
• ensure compliance with California DMV, CARB, DOT, and Cal/OSHA requirements
• maintain inspection and service records
• troubleshoot complex mechanical and diagnostic issues
• manage budgets, parts inventory, vendors, and repair contractors
• track downtime, turnaround, and maintenance costs
• train and evaluate staff
• coordinate maintenance schedules with operations and dispatch.

Why this role

Requires five or more years of fleet, automotive, or heavy-equipment maintenance experience, including supervisory or lead experience, and a valid California driver’s license. ASE certification, CDL, alternative-fuel or electric fleet experience, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
