Job overview

The Hyundai Automotive Technician role is onsite in Lincolnwood, IL. Pay is $22–$45.15 per hour, based on experience, ASE certifications, and/or training. The technician joins Berman Hyundai’s service team. The technician diagnoses, maintains, and repairs Hyundai vehicles to manufacturer standards, working with senior technicians on complex repairs as appropriate. The role supports quality workmanship through accurate diagnostics, repair documentation, and continued technical training.

What you'll do

• Assist with diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues
• work alongside senior technicians on complex engine, transmission, and suspension repairs
• perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• complete warranty and customer-pay repairs
• use Hyundai diagnostic equipment and service information
• document repair orders
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• stay current with Hyundai training and technical service bulletins.
