Assistant Thrift Store Manager

What you'll do

• Support opening and closing procedures
• assist with supervising, recruiting, training, and onboarding staff and volunteers
• plan and oversee daily work
• provide feedback and communicate performance concerns
• help resolve sales-floor issues
• follow security, sales, personnel, and recordkeeping procedures
• maintain staffing coverage and cover shifts as needed
• assist customers
• support expense management, cash handling, deposits, and receipts
• process donations
• maintain merchandise displays, cleanliness, safety, and facility upkeep
• support operational improvements and represent the organization professionally.
