What you'll do

• Serve as caregiver to residents in long-term care.
• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing.
• Obtain and record vital signs.
• Provide psychosocial support and personal care.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking.
• Provide range of motion and passive exercises.
• Assist with food preparation and dining.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Communicate resident's changing condition to charge nurse.
• Collect specimens and gather vital signs.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services.
• Assist with wellness and recreational programs.

What we're looking for

Education

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Experience

Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
