What you'll do
- Review new residents on admission and current residents quarterly, annually, and as needed
- assess significant weight changes and pressure wounds
- calculate energy needs and recommend nutrition interventions
- attend at-risk and food committee meetings as needed
- complete section K of the MDS
- write and update nutrition plans of care
- conduct resident room visits
- observe dietary sanitation and meal service
- audit meal trays
- and communicate with nursing staff.
