Integrated Design Project Engineer

Job overview

The Integrated Design Project Engineer role is onsite in Golden, CO. Pay is $90,000–$110,000 per year. The role supports KL&A Engineers and Builders’ new Integrated Services Team, which provides design services for construction-driven projects. The engineer leads technical production and structural design work, coordinating with design staff, construction managers, steel detailers, and project managers. The work supports accurate, constructible, and efficient project delivery across steel, timber, and hybrid structural systems.

What you'll do

• Lead day-to-day technical work on construction-focused design projects
• perform structural analysis, design, and documentation for steel, timber, and hybrid systems
• coordinate drawing production and quality control
• delegate tasks and mentor Design Engineers
• align design strategies with budgets, schedules, and goals
• coordinate with construction managers and steel detailers
• solve technical challenges
• support client coordination as directed.
