Founding Account Executive

Job overview

The Founding Account Executive role is onsite five days per week in San Francisco, CA, with on-target earnings of $130,000–$170,000 through a 50/50 base and variable compensation structure. The early-stage B2B SaaS company is building software for modern businesses and has early customer traction. The account executive owns the full sales cycle and builds the sales foundation, including pipeline generation, customer messaging, qualification criteria, tools, and processes. The role contributes directly to revenue and helps shape go-to-market strategy and future sales team growth.

What you'll do

• Own the sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close
• generate and manage inbound and outbound pipeline
• refine the ideal customer profile, messaging, qualification criteria, and sales process
• improve sales tools and workflows
• share customer insights with leadership and cross-functional teams
• help establish a scalable sales foundation.
