The Part-Time Firefighter / Advanced Emergency Medical Technician position is onsite in Smithfield, UT. Pay is $19.30 per hour. Smithfield Fire & EMS serves the community through emergency response, fire prevention, and public education. The firefighter/EMT responds to fire, rescue, hazardous-material, and medical calls as part of a trained team. The role provides emergency medical care and advanced life support, supports fire prevention and inspections, and maintains department vehicles, equipment, and supplies.

What you'll do

• Respond to fire, rescue, hazardous-material, and emergency medical events
• operate emergency vehicles and firefighting equipment
• perform fire suppression and rescue tasks
• assess patients and provide care and advanced life support within protocol
• inspect and maintain apparatus, ambulances, and equipment
• participate in training, public education, and fire-prevention activities
• maintain records and shift logs.
