Utility Mechanic

What you'll do

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair company equipment, vehicles, pumps, generators, compressors, and mechanical systems
• diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing-related problems
• maintain utility equipment
• assist field crews with water, sewer, drainage, and plumbing systems
• troubleshoot pumps, valves, piping, and motors
• weld, fabricate, cut, or machine when necessary
• document repairs and coordinate equipment needs
• follow safety requirements and manufacturer procedures.
