What you'll do

• Patrol campus by foot or vehicle and observe and report suspicious or criminal activity
• respond to emergencies, take appropriate action, and document incidents
• issue parking and moving violation tickets
• work flexible shifts and assignments, including special events and residence halls
• serve as an essential trained responder using special equipment
• make payroll runs and provide courier service
• provide courteous service
• attend training
• maintain confidentiality
• perform other duties as assigned.

Why this role

High school diploma required; associate degree in criminal justice or related field preferred; at least one year of related experience required. Requires a valid New York State driver’s license, security guard registration or ability to obtain it, and First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain them. Evening and weekend availability is required.
