What you'll do

• Provide fractional IT leadership for implementation of the existing IT Modernization Roadmap
• develop governance and provide cybersecurity guidance
• support agency leadership and staff
• attend an onsite kickoff and additional in-person meetings as needed, and monthly executive briefings as requested
• establish communication protocols, reporting cadence, and engagement structure
• manage project lifecycles, client communication, and workshops
• advise on IT architecture, system integration, hosting and storage modernization, operational efficiency, cybersecurity frameworks including NIST, incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery. Use the state-issued laptop.
