What you'll do

• Perform venipuncture and blood collection for pediatric patients
• support a calm experience for children and families
• select collection tubes and label specimens
• follow identification, collection, and infection-control procedures
• receive, prepare, process, and route specimens
• perform approved tests after training and competency
• operate equipment
• complete quality-control procedures
• document results
• monitor supplies and maintain a clean, safe laboratory.
