Behavior Technician — Wilmington

The Behavior Technician role is in-person in Wilmington, NC, with pay of $18–$22 per hour. Cardinal Pediatric Therapies provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for autistic children and children with developmental delays, working with families to support progress beyond therapy sessions. The technician works one-on-one with children during scheduled sessions, following individualized treatment plans developed by a licensed supervisor. Through play, routines, and structured activities, the role supports communication, behavior, social, and daily living skills while building foundational ABA experience and working toward Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clinic, home, school, or community settings
• use age-appropriate activities to support skill development
• encourage positive behaviors through reinforcement and consistency
• collect session data and complete documentation
• communicate with families and collaborate with the care team
• participate in training, supervision, and feedback.
