Certified Home Health Aide

Job overview

The Certified Home Health Aide works onsite in patients’ homes in the South Lyon, MI area, with positions available throughout Metro Detroit. Pay is $25 per visit. Hope At Home Health Care provides home health services, and this role works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist. The aide provides personal care and other services according to established care plans, observes and reports patient conditions, and documents care. The work contributes to safe, continuous care that meets patients’ daily living needs.

What you'll do

• Provide services in patients’ residences
• administer simple prescribed medications
• assist with personal care, mobility, and physical therapy exercises
• monitor and report vital signs and other patient conditions
• maintain care records
• instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
• collect routine specimens
• provide companionship and basic emotional support.
