The Software Engineer, Ground & Mission Systems role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Compensation is not specified. Star Catcher is developing a space-based energy grid to wirelessly beam power to spacecraft. The engineer builds software and tooling that connect ground systems, test infrastructure, hardware, and flight software. This work supports spacecraft integration, mission operations, telemetry processing, command validation, and the development of Star Catcher’s orbital power network.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain ground-segment tools, dashboards, and test infrastructure
• develop APIs, services, and data pipelines
• support telemetry ingestion, processing, and visualization
• support command planning and validation tools
• contribute automated testing and data processing for integration campaigns, including hardware-in-the-loop benches
• participate in architecture reviews
• document software architecture, APIs, and procedures
• maintain unit and integration tests for CI/CD.
