Receiver — Produce Warehouse

The Receiver role is onsite in Ravenna, OH. Compensation is $19 per hour. Sirna & Sons Produce distributes fresh products to food-service and institutional customers across the region. The receiver checks incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, temperature, and expiration dates, then labels and rotates stock and supports order staging. Careful handling, accurate records, and safe, orderly warehouse operations help maintain product quality and reliable distribution.

What you'll do

• Unload incoming deliveries
• reconcile purchase orders and document product, expiration-date, quality, or temperature discrepancies
• check product and cooler temperatures
• print and apply receiving labels
• rotate stock using FIFO
• inspect slots and report discrepancies
• pull and stage Will Calls, Run Backs, and assigned customer orders
• move products for rework
• maintain clean, organized cooler and dock areas
• follow allergen, sanitation, and safety procedures
• operate warehouse equipment safely.
