The engineer supports AmaWaterways’ consumer and partner digital platforms, including booking, lead generation, travel advisor, and guest experience initiatives. It combines hands-on development with design reviews, mentorship, and collaboration across product, design, quality assurance, platform, and backend teams.

What you'll do

• Lead frontend architecture and technical backlog prioritization
• design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• establish standards for code quality, accessibility, security, performance, and maintainability
• evolve component libraries and design systems
• lead technical reviews and documentation
• collaborate with UX/UI on accessible responsive experiences
• integrate backend and external services
• optimize performance, accessibility, and search visibility
• monitor application health
• lead frontend security practices
• conduct code reviews and support automated testing and CI/CD
• mentor engineers
• participate in on-call support as required.
