Unit Manager (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse)

The Unit Manager works onsite in Portland, OR. Pay is $45–$48 per hour for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and $53–$57 per hour for a Registered Nurse (RN). The Creston Health & Rehabilitation provides care and rehabilitation for residents. The Unit Manager combines clinical oversight with nursing team leadership to support safe, high-quality resident care. The role coordinates individualized care planning, staff development, quality improvement, and unit operations while working with residents, families, and other departments.

What you'll do

• Ensure compliance with care regulations and best practices
• assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• monitor progress and adjust plans
• supervise and mentor nursing staff
• lead staff meetings
• implement quality improvement initiatives
• review incident reports and develop risk-reduction plans
• engage residents and families
• assist with budgeting, staffing, resource allocation, and documentation.

Why this role

Requires a valid Oregon nursing license and at least three years of nursing experience in long-term care or rehabilitation, including at least one year in a supervisory or managerial role. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
