The Steel Estimator role is onsite in Hanover, PA. Compensation is not specified. Conewago is seeking an estimator to support its steel fabrication plant and customer bidding process. The estimator reviews project scope and specifications, develops accurate take-offs and pricing, and prepares proposals. This work helps assess project fit and provide customers with accurate bids and contract documentation.

What you'll do

• Review job specifications and scope against plant capabilities and certifications
• complete the AISC Bid Tech Form
• perform take-offs and interpret structural and architectural details
• enter data into estimating software
• obtain current material and buyout-item pricing
• work with customers during bidding
• prepare proposals, qualifications, and exceptions
• track bid follow-up
• support contract review with the General Manager
• and prepare change orders when needed.
