Cleaner/Custodian – Building Services Technician

Job overview

The Cleaner/Custodian – Building Services Technician role is onsite in Madison, WI, with compensation of $20–$22 per hour. The position supports cleanliness, safety, and appearance at BMOC’s fraternity houses, apartment communities, and common areas, including apartment turnover cleaning.

What you'll do

• Clean fraternity houses, apartment buildings, leasing offices, and common areas
• sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, disinfect, and sanitize assigned spaces
• empty trash and recycling and replenish supplies
• deep-clean apartments between residents, including kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, cabinets, windows, floors, and fixtures
• assist with seasonal deep cleaning and property refreshes
• report maintenance issues, damage, and safety concerns
• maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
• follow company procedures for equipment and cleaning products
• meet cleaning schedules and turnover deadlines
• provide professional service to residents, clients, vendors, and team members.
