Facilities & Grounds Technician

Job overview

The Facilities & Grounds Technician works onsite in Pontiac, MI, part time, 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at $18–$20 per hour. What you'll do

• Monitor facility tickets and document requests
• complete minor repairs such as replacing bulbs, repairing furniture, and basic plumbing
• clean buildings and bathrooms
• assess supply inventory
• inspect grounds and report concerns
• communicate safety and property issues
• escort staff or clients to vehicles in the Pontiac facility when requested
• complete paperwork
• close the building by turning off lights, arming security, and locking doors and gates
• respond to alarm alerts
• assist with emergencies, events, deliveries, and construction projects
• operate snow-removal equipment and agency vehicles as needed.
