The Cybersecurity Protection Analyst role is onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA, with a stated annual salary of $100,000–$120,000. The position supports the Defense Threat Reduction Agency Tier II Cybersecurity Services Provider team at Spahr Solutions Group. The analyst helps protect subscriber organizations by assessing vulnerabilities, validating security controls, integrating threat intelligence, and supporting compliance and audit readiness. The work contributes to the team’s efforts to identify risks and coordinate remediation across DTRA subscriber environments.

What you'll do

• Serve as a technical cybersecurity liaison to subscriber organizations
• govern and audit CSSP Data Element Dictionary mappings and schemas
• track CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation
• conduct vulnerability assessments using ACAS and other scanning tools
• monitor cyber threat intelligence
• support ESM compliance assessments and audit evidence gathering
• conduct Blue Team assessments under government supervision
• validate endpoint, malware, and boundary defenses
• implement and validate operational directives.
