The mold setter performs equipment startup, shutdown, and mold changes, monitors process conditions, and coordinates with production, quality, tool repair, and engineering teams. What you'll do

• Set up, start, and shut down injection-molding equipment and related processes
• troubleshoot and take corrective action
• document process changes outside approved tolerances and communicate issues to the process engineer
• submit equipment repair requests
• complete mold changes
• clean hoppers and change material to bill-of-material specifications
• coordinate with Quality, Tool Repair, and supervisors
• work with the production supervisor to reduce scrap and improve efficiency
• keep the work area clean and organized.
