Corrugated Packaging Designer

Job overview

The Corrugated Packaging Designer role is onsite in Baltimore, MD; compensation is $60,000–$75,000 per year. What you'll do

• Create 2D structural drawings in ArtiosCAD
• design corrugated packaging and displays
• develop physical prototypes
• refine designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability
• coordinate artwork with tooling vendors and graphic designers
• select board grades based on protection and shipping needs
• prepare manufacturing specifications
• use TOPS for performance data
• track and inspect tooling
• support sales and production troubleshooting
• maintain design and specification records
• ensure designs meet customer and quality requirements.

Why this role

Requires advanced proficiency in ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, or equivalent; familiarity with TOPS or similar software; corrugated material knowledge; and experience with digital cutting tables. An associate degree in a related field is listed, and two years of related experience is preferred.
