What you'll do

• Verify identifying information, counts, weights, and measurements against shipping records
• determine shipment methods
• label and pack items
• record shipping weights and charges
• inspect incoming and outgoing shipments
• report damage or shortages
• route items to departments
• maintain shipping supplies
• handle hazardous waste according to company policy
• move shipments using a tier lift truck or hand truck.
