Systems Administrator

Job overview

The Systems Administrator role is based in Springfield, OR, with general office hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and occasional after-hours work may be required. The annual salary range is $101,086.82–$116,191.76. The role supports Lane Transit District’s enterprise systems infrastructure and its 24x7 operations. The administrator monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots enterprise systems, including servers, virtualization, storage, backups, and core services. The role also supports Microsoft 365, identity services, disaster recovery, system changes, documentation, compliance, and Tier 2 conference room support, working with senior IT staff, other teams, and vendors.

What you'll do

• Monitor enterprise systems and respond to alerts
• perform patching, updates, and maintenance
• troubleshoot and escalate system issues
• administer virtualization, storage, backup and recovery platforms, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365
• develop PowerShell scripts
• support disaster recovery, approved changes, builds, upgrades, migrations, vendor cases, documentation, compliance checks, enterprise printing, and Tier 2 conference room systems.
