Factory Acceptance Testing Technician, First Shift

The Factory Acceptance Testing Technician, First Shift role is onsite in Houston, TX, with scheduled hours from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; compensation is not specified. Enchanted Rock develops and operates distributed generation systems intended to improve power reliability, reduce costs, and decrease carbon footprint. The technician tests newly manufactured generator systems against approved procedures and requirements, documents results, and identifies defects or non-conformances. The role also supports safe test-yard operations and works with Engineering, Production, and Quality on troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.

What you'll do

• Perform factory acceptance testing on newly manufactured generator systems
• execute startup, operational, load, and endurance tests
• conduct emissions testing and document data
• identify and communicate defects or non-conformances
• troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, instrumentation, engine, and generator issues
• maintain complete test records
• support safe, organized test-yard operations
• follow safety procedures
• support Engineering, Production, and Quality during troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.
