Job overview

The HVAC Technician role is onsite in Amesbury, MA. Pay is $38–$45 per hour, depending on experience. The technician joins Main Stream Mechanical’s existing HVAC team, which provides heating, air conditioning, ductless, heat pump, and water-heater services. The role diagnoses, repairs, installs, and maintains HVAC equipment while helping customers understand service needs and replacement options. Accurate service records, customer care, and ongoing training support the team’s delivery of reliable heating and cooling services.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair gas heating, air conditioning, split-system, and heat-pump equipment
• replace HVAC equipment and water heaters
• perform annual maintenance tune-ups
• explain replacement opportunities for old or underperforming equipment
• resolve customer concerns
• maintain service-call records, clean job sites, and organized trucks
• participate in training and ongoing education.
