PACS System Administrator, Federal Facility

Job overview

The PACS System Administrator, Federal Facility role is onsite in Silver Spring, MD, five days per week; remote and hybrid work are not offered. Compensation is not specified. The administrator supports security systems for a federal program at a federal facility. The role maintains the availability, integrity, performance, and security of the Physical Access Control System and related systems. Through monitoring, maintenance, backups, patching, account administration, Tier III support, and vulnerability remediation, the administrator helps keep facility security systems operational and compliant with customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Monitor security systems, field hardware, server resources, and processes
• verify synchronization and database replication
• test performance quarterly
• tune systems and optimize resources
• perform scheduled backups and verify jobs
• manage archives and purges
• test and install patches and upgrades
• configure PACS and system resources
• manage user accounts
• provide Tier III support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and database issues
• document resolutions
• remediate vulnerabilities within stated timelines.

Why this role
