The Maintenance Mechanic role is onsite at TOMRA’s Farmington, NY facility, with a 2:30 p.m.–11 p.m. schedule. Compensation is $28–$30 per hour. The mechanic maintains industrial machinery and facility systems through preventive and corrective work, helping keep recycling operations and material-handling equipment functioning safely and reliably.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and buildings
• repair or replace motors, gearboxes, chains, rollers, belts, air-handling systems, plumbing, piping, electrical circuits, and lighting
• fabricate and install equipment guarding
• read schematics and drawings
• safely rig and move equipment
• use electrical test devices.
