Waabi develops Physical AI technology for autonomous transportation, including commercial autonomous trucks and robotaxis. The engineer owns custom vehicle electronics from schematic design through production and vehicle integration. The role contributes to reliable autonomous-vehicle hardware by designing and testing circuit boards, supporting manufacturing quality, and collaborating with systems, firmware, mechanical, verification, and quality teams.

What you'll do

• Design PCBAs across high-speed, power, analog, and digital circuits
• translate requirements into board-level decisions
• develop modules and evaluate commercial off-the-shelf versus custom hardware
• verify circuits with SPICE or equivalent
• lead board bring-up and direct technician work
• debug and solder at component level
• support vehicle end-of-line testing
• build test fixtures and load boxes
• test under nominal and stressed conditions
• support EMI/EMC testing
• manage contract manufacturer builds
• develop quality controls
• lead inspection, rework, and assembly with technicians
• document procedures and results
• improve internal processes and quality standards.
