The Lift Operations Team Lead — Lift Experience role is onsite in Chesterland, OH, with pay of $22–$29.22 per hour. The position is a winter seasonal role for 2026–2027, with full-time hours available and workdays of 8–10 hours. Vail Resorts’ Lift Experience team aims to provide a seamless guest experience from maze entrance through lift unloading. The team lead oversees lift operations and employees while supporting safe, courteous service. Coordinating staffing, procedures, training, and guest issue resolution helps keep resort lifts operating safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

• Lead daily lift operations, including staff scheduling and lift opening and closing procedures
• assist with hiring, support, and training operators and scanners
• monitor and document employee performance and provide feedback
• enforce applicable laws, policies, and safety procedures
• coordinate with ski patrol, mountain safety, lift maintenance, and lift electric to address issues
• maintain organized workstations
• resolve guest questions and complaints
• take additional training to support ticket scanning.
