Mercy is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for their Gig program in Perry and surrounding communities in Missouri. This is a flexible, per diem/PRN position with various shifts available. The pay rate is $30/hour plus variable shift incentives. This role involves providing patient care under the supervision of a physician or RN. The LPN will float between designated Mercy Hospital facilities and will be responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and being flexible.

What you'll do

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
