Electronics Materials Manager

The Electronics Materials Manager is an onsite role based in Waukegan, IL, with a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year. This position supports the electronics procurement team at Astronics Connectivity Systems and Certification, a leader in in-flight entertainment and connectivity solutions. This role exists to plan and manage daily procurement and materials management activities for electronic product lines. The manager ensures material availability to support production and customer demand while driving cost, quality, and delivery performance across the supply base.

• interview and evaluate vendors
• plan incoming materials
• analyze Bills of Material for cost savings
• monitor market trends
• assess supply risks
• maintain safety stock
• participate in S&OP meetings
• issue Purchase Orders
• manage ERP/MRP system parameters
• monitor component lifecycle status
• review Engineering Change Orders
• generate customer quotes.
