Job overview

The Automotive Technician (A/B-Level) role is onsite in Pinole, CA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay is $35–$55 per hour, with B-level pay of $35–$48 per hour and A-level pay of $45–$55 per hour. The independent shop specializes in European vehicles and also services Asian and domestic makes. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicles, performs maintenance and inspections, and documents work to support quality service and efficient shop operations. The position works with service advisors and other technicians in a collaborative repair environment.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns on European, Asian, and domestic vehicles
• troubleshoot engine and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment
• perform general repairs including brakes and transmission removal and replacement
• complete maintenance, inspections, and preventive services
• communicate findings to service advisors
• maintain repair documentation and an organized shop.
